The THOR Network Foundation was established to improve outcomes for patients with life-threatening bleeding. We are passionate about translating lifesaving lessons from traumatic bleeding to other causes, including postpartum hemorrhage, surgical bleeding, oncology-related bleeding, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
The THOR Network Foundation, established in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, raises funds to support THOR’s mission through education, training, advocacy, and research.

The THOR Network Foundation welcomes individual and corporate donations and grants. THOR Network Foundation awards contracts across all project types (universities, nonprofits, for-profits, and government). This ensures the majority of your donation directly supports lifesaving research, education, and innovation.
THOR Research Institute is developing new clinical research focused on improving transfusion care for patients with cancer. This work will explore the potential of cold-stored platelets to improve bleeding outcomes while increasing platelet availability, reducing waste, and helping create a safer, more reliable blood supply. Your support helps move this important research from development toward clinical trials and better patient care.
